This Business Policy establishes the legal framework for processing personal data at Montellec Limited. We do not deploy cookies or tracking pixels. Our traffic is protected by Cloudflare; please consult the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for information regarding their data retention and security protocols, as these are managed independently of our services.

Core Processing Pillars
Device Registration
We maintain a registry of hardware IDs linked to user accounts to provide authenticated firmware updates and over-the-air (OTA) maintenance.
Warranty & Service
Data is processed to validate warranty claims and support lifecycle services for the human-interface device.
Compliance
Statutory retention of financial records for 6 years as required by Irish Revenue under the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997.

Lodging a Complaint

Infrastructure & Security

All data is stored using Google Workspace (USA) under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We use "honeypot" technology to stop bots rather than invasive cookie-based tracking. For all privacy inquiries: dpia@montellec.com.
